The renovations and additions to the Anderson Library allowed this existing suburb branch to obtain regional library status. Among the features of the design, a special children's library was incorporated, with appropriately-sized computer workstations and parent-child reading areas. Additionally, custom circulation and reference desks promoted a separation of these functions for more patron-friendly environment. Cost effectiveness was maintained by reusing the library's existing shelving. However, new custom end-panels with slat wall displays and stand-up computer terminals, serve to enhance the renovated interior.
