KREGER HALL MIAMI UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS OXFORD, OHIO PDT Architects parent company SFA Architects, was chosen to complete the renovation of the 1930 Kreger Hall, the physics building at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. The approximately 50,816 SF building required over 33,000 SF of rehabilitation and renovation. The project includes a new lecture hall, classrooms, laboratory spaces and administrative offices. Many of the improvements will be made to update the MEP, life safety, classroom technology and communication systems. Rehabilitation of the exterior façade is also required including, new windows, masonry restorations, new clay tile roof and foundation wall waterproofing. The building is scheduled to meet the requirements for LEED Silver certification |
