LEBANON HIGH SCHOOL
SFA Architects, PDT Architects parent company, was the prime Architect for the district in the development of a 67-acre site into a brand new high school campus for grades 9-12 for 1740 students. Our Architects worked in the historic town of Lebanon with the growing Lebanon City School District to design a long-term building solution that was flexible enough to provide multiple configurations of programs while still conforming to the established criteria. Construction was completed on schedule, and the school opened for the 2004 school year. The project was implemented under OSFC specifications. The design team was able to maximize the use of quality materials and thoughtful arrangement of spaces despite the limitations imposed by budget restrictions. The new multi-story high school successfully fits into the historic heritage of the City of Lebanon. The district's mission of technology integration and interdisciplinary team teaching guided the design team as they worked with the end user, the teacher. Throughout the entire process our office was extremely sensitive to the special needs of the Historic area where the facility is located.
