At the time of its completion, the New England Club was one of Cincinnati's first congregate housing projects for seniors. Wrapped in a traditional Cape Cod exterior, the 250 apartments are provided with a complete spectrum of amenities. Although common in recent senior projects, the inclusion of dining rooms, health club, fitness center, library, and other amenities made this a truly groundbreaking project for its time. Complimenting the independent living apartments are a number of assisted-living units, which are supported by a wellness center, nurses station, and separate kitchen and dining room.
