SABO FORD
Sabo Ford was a new facility built in order to improve the sales of it three brands, Ford, Lincoln and Mercury, by presenting its customers with a new and modern image. The design, which featured an attractive well-lit entry pylon and an enclosed new car delivery area in the showroom, was based on Ford Motor Land Services design standards. The project eventually became PDT's typical prototype design for dealerships with a planning volume (PV) of 750. The uniqueness of the design is its efficiency. The plan follows a very simple rectangular geometry that allows for a compact layout, while still maximizing the use of space. Ford Motor Land Services continues to refer to and promote this design among dealers.
